A podcast is similar to a radio show, except it's in the form of a computer file that you download off the Internet and can listen to at your convenience. You can play the podcast on your computer or on a portable digital music player.
Why would I want to listen to Albany Poets podcasts?
These podcasts will be a way to listen to the poetry readings, events, and open mics in the Upstate area. These recordings will include the Poets Speak Loud open mic series, Albany Poets Presents..., the Albany Word Fest, and more.
How can I download a podcast?
You can download individual podcast episodes by going to the Audio Page and clicking on the "DOWNLOAD MP3" link. Save the file to your computer and then play in your favorite media player.
What does it mean to "subscribe" to a podcast?
Subscribing saves you the hassle of having to manually check for new podcasts each day by having the files automatically downloaded to your computer.
