Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival

Not too soon to start thinking about and planning to attend the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival, the premiere poetry gathering in the U.S. (aside from the already renowned Albany gatherings). It's a four-day affair, September 25, 2008 through September 28, 2008, at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ. If you want to stay overnight at a hotel/motel in that area, you should probably be making reservations now. The Festival usually sets aside a block of rooms, in such places as the Wyndham Mount Olive, but there's been no indication of that yet, or of any special rates yet. The site to keep checking about the festival is this one--

A Conversation Between Tina Chang and Li-Young Lee

Thought you might want to know about this conversation, which originally appeared in an article in American Poet.
