Long known as the place “Where Good Friends Meet”, the Lark Tavern under Tess carries on with its reputation of Good friends , Good Food and Good music. Come and see what the buzz is all about.

Lark History
The building that is now the lark tavern has enjoyed a long and interesting history. Originally built as a firehouse in 1867 it later became a livery stable (there are still rings on the walls from tying up the horses). In the early part of the century it went through a third renovation to become a theater.

Food
Lark is the only restaurant in the Lark Street area that continues to serve great food into the wee hours of the evening, during the week and on the weekends. A huge menu to select from with a great choice of daily specials, you are sure to find something to your liking.

Bar
An establishment with a bar as impressive as Lark's of course has more than just a few selections for you. Did you say Beer? Try 16 choices on tap and 30 bottled choices. Mixed Drink more your speed? Martini's are a popular choice, but then again, so are those famous (or is it infamous?) Mango Momma's … pick your poison and enjoy

If the list of choices or mammoth collection of bottles behind the bar seems endless, the well-known Drink Specials board behind the bar can help in your decision process or you will find it is not uncommon for one of the staff or a fellow patron to offer a selection to help in your decision process. A well-rounded yet diverse wine selection ensures the resident wine aficionados have choices as well.
