  <description>ALBANY POETS is proud to present the 2008 ALBANY WORD FEST taking place on April 18 - 19, 2008 at the UAG Gallery and Tess' Lark Tavern.  This event will be featuring the poetry, music, and spoken word of upstate New York starting with the Friday Night Open Mic on April 18 at the UAG Gallery. Poets who wish to perform at the open mic will be able to sign up online beginning on Saturday, March 15.</description>
