ALBANY WORD FEST HISTORY

The 2003 ALBANY WORD FEST was the third annual event celebrating the arts of poetry and spoken word.

2003 saw the WORD FEST relocate from the windy hills of Thatcher Park to Valentines in Albany. Performers for the third installment included:

Online sign up for the Word Fest Open Mic is now open for all poets and spoken word artists who wish to perform at the 2007 Albany Word Fest Open Mic at the UAG Gallery on Friday, April 20.
